Throughout the class, we delve into various Procreate design concepts such as layering, transparency, brush stamps, canvas settings, clipping masks, blending modes, quick selections, color adjustments, hue and saturation, Gaussian blur, snapping and guides. You will also learn about mixed media techniques, document and brush sizing, pattern creation, adding details with brushes, workflow best practices, painting techniques, Procreate composites, and more.
Project Description
To create your greeting card, you can set it up from scratch, as I outline in the class, or you can open one of the attached layouts. Follow along with the lessons and use the brushes that are included. I would suggest you peruse my Artist Resources to see if there is anything else you can use for this project today. As you are working through the lessons, try to make the whole piece as rich as possible. Enjoy the process! You will learn so much by experimenting, so don’t rush. I would even suggest duplicating your artwork to try a few vastly different backgrounds as I demonstrated in the lessons.
