About this Class:
Do you ever dream of self-publishing your own line of greeting cards but don’t know where to start? Are you just starting out, but aren’t ready to jump into the art-licensing game? Are you a talented artist, but unsure of how to monetize your efforts? Are you trying to find ways to create a passive income? Do you sell at craft fairs or popups and want a way to produce a quantity of quality cards for a fraction of the price? If you answered yes to any of these questions, this class is for you.
In this class I share a few secrets to my success both retailing and wholesaling my cards. I will teach you the steps I took to first publishing my line of cards. My retail experience is with craft sales and pop-ups, so I have tons of wisdom culminating from over 20 years of experience. I have also attended wholesale gift shows in Canada (similar to Surtex and the National Stationery Show) where I have sold my line of cards to retailers. I also use both e-commerce and on-line market places to sell my work and I will explain the ins and outs of both venues. I have 5 lessons for you with many different ideas for getting a sale-ready product and selling for the first time!
Selling your own greeting cards can be fun and profitable if you know what steps to take. In this course I will outline three ways to produce your cards with methods I have proven for myself through years of experience. I have experience selling wholesale, retail and POD-style sales, as well as selling with an online marketplaces like Zazzle, RedBubble and Art of Where, and over 20 years of selling at craft sales and pop-up at the largest shows in Canada where over 40,000 visitors might go through on a weekend! I also sell successfully through Cardisle Kiosks (I had the top two selling Mother’s Day cards this year)! Take this course with me and you will see how truly easy it can be!
